These springs will have slight more tension then originals so you need to ensure you use needle nose pliers to install carefully so you do not damage the brush holders. We have installed & tested them on and off several times with no problems when using this method as pliers is the best way to hold the springs in place to avoid flying off or flicking onto delicate plastic parts of the brush holder.
